Phelicia "Lisa" (Goins) Foster

Phelicia “Lisa” Goins Foster passed away peacefully at her home on July 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness.

Lisa was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose greatest joy was caring for others. She was especially known for her incredible cooking and her generous heart. No one ever left her home hungry or without feeling welcomed and loved. Her kindness, compassion, and selfless spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Lucille Goins; her sister, Patricia White; and her brother, James Goins.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved son, George (Jordy) Foster; her treasured grandchildren, Kaili Gabrielle Foster, Kinley Jordan Foster, and Gabriel Elijah Jordan Foster; her five sisters, Brenda Whittington, Priscilla Wade (Russell), Elizabeth Maxwell (Eugene), Cora Cox (Harold), and Sheila Goins; her brother, Adrian Goins (Belinda); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Lisa’s legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering care for those around her will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.

In accordance with her wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
