Paulette Begley

Paulette Begley, age 73 of Banner Elk and formerly Newland, passed away on Friday February 16, 2024 at the I.C.U in Bristol Tennessee.  Paulette was a kind and loving woman who had a light no one could extinguish. She fought a long hard battle for over 4 years. In the end God needed her home. She was born in Leslie County Kentucky August  26, 1950 to the late parents of Ralph and Virginia Begley. Paulette was a devout Christian and loved reading the Bible. Paulette is preceded in death by sister Edna, her soulmate Eward E.S. Spencer Blackburn, son Keith Blackburn, cherished partner Dale Norwood , and grandson Mark Johnson Jr.  Paulette  is survived by daughter and son in law, Theresa and husband George Arney, son John Blackburn. Audrey and husband Mark Johnson, Jr. who treated and loved her like a mother. Stacey Hix and husband Mike Dimberg, who was her neice and treated her like a mother and was treated like a daughter.  Sister Gwen Hix, sister Debbie Kerr and husband Don. Brother Gene and wife Ruby Begley.  Paulettes grandchildren  include; Macheele Moss, Candice Arney, Shawn Arney, Jennifer Arney Sims and husband Benjamin, Waylon Blackburn , Alex Blackburn , and Brandon Blackburn, Marry Johnson, Missy and husband Mick Sanchez, Diamond Sanchez and Dane Sanchez.  Tons of nieces and nephews, John Hix, David Hix, Kimberly Olaughlin,  Jessie Begley, Cody Begley, Amber Fine, Rick Blackburn, Danny Blackburn and so many more.
