Nolan Trent Pyatte

Nolan Trent Pyatte, 65, passed away on June 21, 2026.

Nolan was born on August 23, 1960, to Hugh and Zenna Pyatte. He grew up with a love for the outdoors, especially hunting. Throughout his life, even during his years working in construction, he always made time for one of his greatest passions, bear hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Zenna Pyatte; his brother, William Pyatte; and his brother-in-law, Ronnie Duckworth.

Nolan is survived by his sister, Debbie Duckworth; his brothers, Ed Pyatte (Teresa) and Hughey Pyatte (Hazel); and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Watauga Baptist Cemetery, located at 133 Shelby St, Banner Elk, NC 28604.
