Michael James Greene

Michael James Greene, 36 of West Jefferson, passed away at home on December 18, 2023. He was born in Ashe County on October 30, 1987 to Tabitha Weikle.

Michael was preceded in death by his Nana Judy Greene, Grandpa Junior Howell, and father-in-law Richard Woods.

He is survived by his wife Tonya Greene of West Jefferson; brother Cody Powers (Ashley) of West Jefferson; mother Tabitha Weikle (David) of South Carolina; mother-in-law Barbara Woods of Laurel Springs; sister-in-law Irene Lewis (James) of Lansing; and Lisa Love (Joe) of Deep Gap; adopted daughter/niece Theresa Pruitt (Casey); and two nephews Jeremiah and Jackson; nephews James Lewis, Richard Lewis, Tristan Little, Trathen Powers, James Love, Edward Love; nieces Serenity Lewis, Kelsey Poe, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Mt. Paddy Church, Jefferson, NC at 4:00 PM.
