Jenatte Schell Weisman

Mrs. Jenatte Grace Schell Weisman, Age 81, of Newland, NC went home to be with the Lord at 1:35 pm November 22, 2023. Born July 19, 1942, in Balitmore, M.D. She was the daughter of Thomas Edward Schell and Ella May Shipley Schell. Janet began her spiritual journey as a member of Bishop Cummings Memorial Church of Collinsville, M.D and later became an active member of St. Mark Episcopal Church in Millsboro, Delaware. Retired from M&T Bank as an Auditor, Janet loved Elvis and collected many memorabilia. Even though Janet, had no biological children of her own, she loved and spoiled her nephew Roger Thomas Falsis (Sandy), and Niece’s Shannonrae Mathes (Rickie), Cathy Groseman as if they were her own. She was survived by her Sister Pamela Schell Parlier of Boone, N.C., Nephew William Zain Parlier III (Jennifer), Grandnephew Bryan K. Causby, JR (Avery, CO), Eathen Zain Parlier, Grandnieces Mary Allison Parlier and Lillie Ann Parler also of Boone, N.C. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Bennard Weisman, Sister Mary Percilla Jacobson, Grandparents John Edward Schell, Florence Emely Harrison Schell and her beloved dog Sammy.  Celebration of life services will be conducted at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Avery County Senior Services C/O Meals on Wheels, 189 Old Vale Rd, Newland, NC 28657
