Jane Dunn Lebzelter, 90, of Sugar Grove, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024.
Jane was born on June 9, 1934, the daughter of Sturgeon Ellsworth and Gladys (Walters) Dunn, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, David Otto Lebzelter.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan Jane Dunn, of the home; son William David Lebzelter of Boulder, Colorado; and nephews Robert, Jim, Gary, and Jeff Lebzelter, all of Ohio, and their families.
A graduate of Grove City College (1956), Jane worked as a lab technician for the Cleveland Clinic early in life. She made a beautiful home for her family.
One of her favorite volunteer positions was aboard a bike, assisting Cuyahoga Valley National Park visitors as a Trailblazer.
Jane was a member of the Nordonia Hills Garden Club, the Leisure Time Ladies golf club, and Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Brecksville, Ohio, as well as an avid tennis player.
Since moving South, Jane enjoyed participating in exercise classes at Western Watauga Community Center and tending to flowers on a deck overlooking Cove Creek.
Jane also leaves a wide circle of friends who will miss her smiling face, kindness, and positive attitude.
Details of burial and a service have not yet been established.
