Esther Perry Obituary

Esther Martha Perry, age 79 of Zionville, North Carolina passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living. Born on November 12, 1944 in Watauga County to the late Clay and Blanche Fletcher.

Esther loved her family dearly. She was a gracious woman with strong faith and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She had a sweet and gentle spirit and a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Morris Perry, sons, Reggie (Sherri) Perry, Rick (Donya) Perry, Randy (Debbie) Perry, a very special sister and friend, Brenda Sanders, six grandchildren; Alisha (Ray) Welborn, Cassie (Curtis) Gladney, Brittany (Forrest) Visser, Lauren (Robert) Miller, Jenna Reece, Zach Perry, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great -great grandchild.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, November 20, 2023 at 12 Noon in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Austin and Barnes Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Perry Family.
