Christina "Christy" Lesley Hollar

Christina “Christy” Lesley Hollar, age 40, of 306 Betsy Circle, Todd, went to be with her Savior on
Monday morning, October 9, 2023.
Christy was a wonderful and loving mother, daughter & sister. Her children loved and adored
her. Christy loved sports and you could always find her on the sidelines supporting her children, no
matter if it was gymnastics, basketball, softball, or t-ball. Christy was a member of Howards Creek
Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday School, a single ladies group, and a home Bible study.
She was a valued employee at Deal, Moseley, and Smith. She embodied a great work ethic and loved her
job.
Christy is survived by her three children, Rayn Thigpen, Jamison Gaddy, and Lucy Hollar. Mother,
Debbie Norris and stepfather Tommy. Brother, John Hollar and wife Brooke and their four children,
Henry, Jase, Kaden, and Nora Jane. Stepsister Stephanie Smith and husband Ryan and their two children
Mason and Izzie. Grandmother Clara Hollar, and children Chris, Hannah and Kari. Special relatives and friends,Robin and Pat Jones, Linda Stoffregen,

Jenny Anderson, Bob Stoffregen, Connie Stahl, Mike and Mary Hall, Stephen Thigpen, Kathy Yates, Tera Southard, Tyler Southard and Brandon Southard and wife Shelby.
She was preceded in death by her father John Hollar Jr., her grandparents John Hollar Sr.,
Theresa Hollar, Robert and Jane Stoffregen, and stepsister Sondra Southard.
Services for Christy Hollar will be held at Howards Creek Baptist Church, 240 Howards Creek Rd,
Boone. Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 12:30-2 in the Fellowship Hall with services to follow in the sanctuary. A
private burial will follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for funeral expenses and scholarships for the
children be made to Debbie Norris in care of Howards Creek Baptist Church, 240 Howards Creek Rd.
