Christina Michelle McKiddy

Christina McKiddy, age 48, passed away on Tuesday January 7th, 2025. Born on August 10th, 1976 to parents Jack and Geneva Cooper, Christina dedicated her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, a profession that allowed her to make an impact on her patient’s lives. She married Joseph, and together they built a family that brought her immense joy. Christina’s kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Geneva.

Christina is survived by her husband of 27 years, Joseph McKiddy from Crumpler, NC; father, Darrell Calhoun of Wilkesboro, NC; son, Jacob McKiddy and fiancee, Brooke Neal from Laurel Springs, NC; son, Noah McKiddy from Crumpler, NC; daughter, Elliah McKiddy from Crumpler, NC and fiancé Eli from Fayetteville, TN; grandson, Benjamin Barker from Milton, FL; granddaughter, Ember McKiddy from Laurel Springs, NC; half-brother, Darrell Calhoun and wife Melissa from Mountain City, TN; half-sister, Crystal Hodges from China Grove, NC ; step brother, Barron Cooper and wife Vickie from West Jefferson, NC; special friend Rachel Burgess from Grassy Creek, NC.

Services for Christina will be held at Welcome Home Baptisit Church ins Crumpler, NC on on Saturday January 25th, 2025. Visitiation will be at 2:00 PM with services to follow.
