Carol Scholz Raimo

Carol Scholz Raimo of Pineola, NC received her beautiful angel wings on May 9th, 2024 on her way to heaven. She certainly was an angel on earth.

She was born on October 27th, 1945 in White Plains, New York, the oldest daughter of David and Gloria Scholz.

Carol was admired for her always kind, cute, sweet and loving nature and was an extremely strong woman. Even when she was sick, she was more concerned about everyone else doing well instead of herself. She was very quick-witted and had a sly sense of humor paired with her sweet smile and winks that will never be forgotten.

She loved celebrating and always looked forward to each and every holiday. She loved to decorate and was known for her beautiful decorations and attention to detail. She always made everyone feel warm and welcome. She loved spending time with her family and brought a lot of happiness into this world each and every day. She was the greatest Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, and friend, and a blessing to all who knew her.

Carol is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Jerry, her daughter Heather Raimo Beam (Kenneth), her son Jeffrey (Camille), her brothers David (Judy) Scholz, Douglas (Susan) Scholz, her brother-in-laws Benny Benfield and George Raimo, a very special niece Tabitha Benfield and several special cousins, nieces, nephews and countless others.

She was preceded in death by her parents David & Gloria Scholz and her sister Dianne Scholz Benfield.
